Custom integrations

The work that costs your people the most time is usually moving data between two systems that were never designed to talk to each other.

Where the manual handling actually is

  • Membership and loyalty into finance, or into a marketing platform
  • Gaming and POS data into reporting, so the weekly pack is not assembled by hand
  • Rostering into payroll, which is high volume and expensive to get wrong
  • Clinical or care systems into reporting for funding and accreditation returns
  • Supplier documents into finance workflows
  • Anything currently moved by exporting a spreadsheet — that is the reliable signal

Why we can do this and most providers cannot

We have software developers on staff. Our director has written software that integrates with Aristocrat systems on and off across twenty years, has worked with SwiftPOS since its first version, worked alongside the original developer of the eBET Turbo system, and built a club loyalty platform from scratch.

A provider who can only resell a vendor's product has to wait for that vendor to ship an integration. We can build the missing piece — and, just as importantly, we know when a vendor's API will not support what you are asking for, which saves a wasted project.

How we scope it

We baseline the manual effort first. If a task takes four hours a week, that is 200 hours a year, and the integration either pays for itself against that number or it does not. We would rather tell you a build is not worth it than deliver one you regret.

Every integration is documented, monitored and handed over, with the manual fallback written down. An undocumented integration is a liability the day its author leaves.

Common questions

Who owns the code?

You own the integration built for you, and it is documented so another party could maintain it. We are not interested in lock-in through obscurity.

What if the vendor changes their API?

Maintenance is part of the arrangement — an integration is a system with a lifecycle, not a one-off project, and we are explicit about that when we scope it.
