Process automation
Not a workshop. Named tasks, chosen because clients already tell us they lose hours to them every week.
What we would start on in your first ninety days
- Rostering admin and award-interpretation checking — high volume, rule-based, and expensive to get wrong
- Member and patient correspondence, drafted then reviewed by a person
- Incident and maintenance reports written up from short notes
- Supplier invoice and document handling, including matching and routing for approval
- Compliance evidence collection, continuously rather than the week before an audit
- After-hours call triage and a summarised handover for the morning shift
The three rules we work to
- Safe — nothing automated sits between a person and a clinical, gaming or financial decision. A human approves anything with consequence
- Measurable — we baseline the time a task takes before automating it, so the saving is a number rather than a feeling
- Reversible — every automation can be switched off and the manual process resumed. If it cannot, it is not ready
Why sequencing is not delay
Automating a broken process makes it fail faster, so the deep work does wait for a stable environment. The safe wins do not: governance answers, data-location decisions and the first automations begin in the first ninety days, alongside the hardening.
Every quarter without automation is another quarter of the same manual work, and the gap compounds — the organisations that started have cleaner data and already know which process is worth doing next. Nobody should be sold delay as prudence.
Common questions
What if the automation breaks?
The manual process is documented and resumable, and the automation is monitored like any other production system. This is a condition of us building it, not an afterthought.
Will this replace staff?
In our experience it removes the parts of a job nobody wanted — reconciling, retyping, chasing — in organisations that are generally short-staffed to begin with. We will not pretend it can never affect roles, but that is your decision to make with the numbers in front of you.
