Power Platform's strength is that anyone can build a flow. That is also its risk. In an ungoverned tenant you end up with hundreds of flows built by staff who have since left, running under personal accounts, touching member or patient data, with no documentation and no owner.
- Environments and DLP policies, so flows cannot connect sensitive data to consumer services
- Service accounts rather than personal ones, so a departure does not break a process
- An inventory of what exists, what it touches and who owns it
- A review cycle, because an unowned flow is a liability rather than an asset
Licensing, briefly
Much of what organisations want is achievable on the licences included with Microsoft 365. Some connectors and capabilities need premium licensing, and the cost difference is significant. We will tell you which side of that line a request falls on before you commit to it.
